NC State Finishes 38th in Final AP Poll of 2018 Football Season

NC State entered the Gator Bowl right on the edge of the AP Top-25 in the final regular season rankings, sitting at #28. Had the Wolfpack defeated Texas A&M, they would have almost definitely ended ranked in the Top-25 for the second consecutive season for the first time since 1991-92.  As we all know, the Aggies crushed the Wolfpack 52-13, moving up 5 spots to #16 in the Final AP Poll, and bumping NC State back to #38.

The Wolfpack entered this season ranked 32nd in the Preseason Poll.
