The #8 NC State Women’s Basketball team is the ONLY undefeated team left in the nation. On Thursday night, the Wolfpack improved to 16-0 on the season, and 3-0 in ACC play, crushing Pitt 63-34.

Redshirt Graduate Junior Kiara Leslie led the Wolfpack in scoring, and filled the stat sheet with 8 rebounds, 5 assists (team high), 2 blocks and 3 steals (team high).

Senior DD Rodgers was the only other player in double-figures, chipping in 10 points, and matching Leslie’s 8 rebounds.

Sophomore Kayla Jones led the team in rebounding and blocks with 9 and 3 respectively.

NC State never trailed for a single second in the contest, and has won the past two ACC games without two of their starters: Redshirt Junior Grace Hunter and Redshirt Graduate Junior Kaila Ealey. Hunter tore her ACL against Duke, and Ealey suffered a knee injury in the exhibition game. Both are out for the year.

#1 Notre Dame beat the undefeated #2 Louisville Cardinals 82-68, leaving the Wolfpack as the lone team in the nation without a loss.

The Wolfpack will head up to UVA for a 2pm tipoff tomorrow.
