NC State has Taken the Lead for 4-Star 2019 SF Christian Brown

According to the experts over at 247Sports, NC State has taken the lead for 2019 4-Star Small Forward Christian Brown (6’6″/210). In the Fall, Georgia was thought to hold the advantage, but 8 Crystal Ball predictions have come in over the past 4 days, and all of them project that Brown will eventually commit to run with the Wolfpack.

Those predictions come from some of the best 247Sports has to offer, including Director of Basketball Recruiting Evan Daniels, National Recruiting Analyst Brian Snow and National Recruiting Analyst Josh Gershon. In the history of the 247Sports Crystal Ball, all three of these guys have all been successful in their predictions over 91% of the time.

Brown transferred from Lower Richmond (Columbia, South Carolina) to the prestigious Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Virginia) for his Senior season.

NC State made Brown’s Top-7 back in May along with Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, UNLV, Seton Hall and Florida. He has already taken official visits to Georgia, Clemson and UNLV, with two more remaining.

With all of this buzz coming in all at once, I would be shocked if Brown didn’t take an official visit to NC State. It’s also buzzing around that a visit to Illinois could be in the works.

ESPN ranks Brown as the #58 overall player in the 2019 class.
