VIDEO: Devon Daniels Talks After NC State Beat Pitt 86-80

Redshirt Sophomore Devon Daniels had a monster 1st half, scoring 15 points in the first half, and finished the game with 19. He spoke with the media after the game. The video is ABOVE, and a bulleted breakdown is BELOW.

• We showed our character today. We had some people out today. Wyatt got kicked out. Markell got hurt. We had a lot of fouls going on. We stuck together, and showed how strong we are as a team.
• In the 2nd half, I think we were getting good shots. They just weren’t falling. We just kept pushing. The were getting some easy shots on the other end, so once we stepped up our defense, our offense kind of came together.
• I was just doing whatever it took to win. Different games, my team needs me to do different things. Today I felt like they needed me to score a little bit. Help kind of lead the way…so I tried to do that.
