4-Star 2019 G Dereon Seabron Commits to NC State!
Well…that evolved quickly.
4-Star Combo Guard Dereon Seabron (6’6″/180) included NC State in his Final 5 schools 3 days ago, without even having an offer from the Wolfpack.
This weekend, Seabron took visit to Raleigh, attending the Pittsburgh game, and left with a scholarship offer in hand.

Obviously it made quite the impression.
Seabron officially committed to run with the Wolfpack tonight.

247Sports ranks Seabron as the #107 overall player nationally in the 2019 recruiting class, and the #6 player in the state of Virginia.
Seabron led Lake Taylor High School (Norfolk, VA) to a state championship as a Senior last year, earning Class 4 State Player of the Year honors (22.5 points and 11 boards per game). Instead of going to one of the smaller colleges that had offered him this season, he decided to prep one season at Massanutten Military Academy (Woodstock, VA) to pick up some Power 5 offers.
It looks like he found the Power 5 offer he was looking for.
Seabron joins 5-Star Point Guard Jalen Lecque as the second member of NC State’s 2019 recruiting class.
