NC State Women’s Basketball is the LONE Undefeated Team in ALL of College Basketball
On January 10th, #1 Notre Dame beat the undefeated #2 Louisville Cardinals 82-68, leaving NC State as the lone Women’s Basketball team in the nation without a loss.
Last night the final 2 unbeaten Men’s Basketball teams took their first ‘L’ of the season. #4 Virginia lost to #1 Duke 72-70, and Wisconsin beat #2 Michigan 64-54.
As a result, the #8 NC State Women’s Basketball team is the LONE undefeated team in ALL of College Basketball (Division-I).
The Wolfpack (17-0) will host Virginia Tech (13-4) this afternoon at 12:30pm. The Wolfpack is 18-1 all-time against the Hokies, and have never lost to them at home (8-0).
Also…voters…can we do something about that #8 ranking?
I feel you on the number 8 ranking. I think what gave the voters pause in the past is that we a. Haven’t face an elite team yet and B as soon as we prove ourselves deserving of a high rating we lose a player for the season. I pray good health as well as stellar play for our girls for the remainder of the season
