Oregon/Wake Forest Transfer WR Tabari Hines Taking Official Visit to NC State

Former Oregon and Wake Forest Wide Receiver Tabari Hines (5’10”/175) has confirmed with me he is taking an official visit to NC State this weekend.

Jones spent his first three seasons at Wake Fores, accumulating 123 receptions for 1,496 yards and 13 touchdowns.

After graduating in three years, Hines decided to transfer to Oregon as a Graduate Transfer, after also visiting USC and Texas.

After having a knee procedure last Fall, Hines was unable to climb the depth chart at Oregon, and news broke on November 13th that he was no longer on the roster, and had entered the transfer portal.

Since Hines only played in 3 games this year, he was able to Redshirt this past season, and has one year of eligibility remaining, and will be able to play immediately as a Graduate.

Hines loves playing against NC State in his three years at Wake Forest, compiling 22 receptions, 306 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Freshman at Wake – 5 for 42 yards

Sophomore at NC State – 9 for 125 yards and a touchdown

Junior at Wake – 8 for 139 yards and  3 touchdowns

As you can see, he’s comfortable playing in Carter-Finley Stadium.

Hines was a 3-star prospect in the 2015 class, holding offers from Wake Forest and Duke.
