3-Star 2019 RB Maryland Commit Jordan Houston Taking an Official Visit to NC State this Weekend

NC State offered Maryland 2019 3-Star RB Commit Jordan Houston 2 days ago, and he announced via his Twitter account last night that he will be taking an official visit to Raleigh this weekend, instead of his scheduled official visit to Maryland.

Houston committed to Maryland back on July 30th. He took an official visit to Michigan State this past weekend, and is scheduled to take one to Maryland this weekend, and UMASS the weekend after that.

His offer sheet is much more impressive than the stars beside his name, holding offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Duke, Boston College, UNC, NC State and others.

Houston rushed for 1,582 yards (12.4 yards per carry) and 20 touchdowns for Flint Hill High School (Oakton, VA) this past season.

His original Top-5 schools before committing to Maryland included UNC, Michigan, Michigan State and Virginia Tech.

If you watch his commitment video below, you would think that this guy had already been under Coach Thunder’s tutelage.

Maryland’s in-home visit with Houston on Wednesday night apparently wasn’t convincing enough for him to keep his scheduled visit to College Park.
