2019 NC State Commit Jakia Brown-Turner Named McDonald’s All-American

2019 NC State Women’s Basketball commit Jakia Brown-Turner (6’0″) has been named to the McDonald’s All-American game.

Brown-Turner is averaging 16.4 points per game for Bishop McNamara (Temple Hills, MD) this season. ESPN rates her as a 5-star prospect, and ranks her as the #18 overall player in the 2019 class.

NC State’s 2019 recruiting class is ranked 8th nationally by ESPN.

Brown-Turner is the first NC State commitment to be named a McDonald’s All-American since Amber White in 2006.
