NC State had 4-Star 2020 Shooting Guard Joe Bamisilie in for an unofficial visit this past Sunday.

Bamisilie averaged 28.7 points and 7.5 rebounds for Monacan (Richmond, VA) this season as a Junior. 247Sports ranks him as the #100 overall player in the 2020 recruiting class, and the #5 player in the state of Virginia.

He holds offers from VCU, ODU, George Mason, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Georgia Tech, West Virginia, Florida, Northwestern and others.

Even though NC State hasn’t offered Bamisile yet, he told Evan Daniels of 247Sports that they were one of the four schools recruiting him the hardest.

“Georgia Tech, Northwestern, NC State and Virginia Tech have hit me up the most,” Bamisile said. (247)

Here’s what Bamisile had to say to Daniels about his visit to Raleigh.

“It went super well,” Bamisile said. “The coaching staff seemed really genuine. Their style of play would fit a guy like me because they press, they shoot a bunch of threes and their coach lets them go so it would be a pretty good situation. They haven’t seen me play in person yet.” (247)

He has recently taken unofficial visits to Virginia, VCU, and West Virginia, and he is making trips to Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh this week.
