4-Star OL Mitchell Mayes at NC State Today

4-Star 2020 Offensive Tackle Mitchell Mayes (6’5″/315) is on campus at NC State today on an unofficial visit.

He has played at Sanderson the past couple of years, but has transferred to Leesville Rd. now.

Mayes has been a frequent visitor at NC State over the past couple of months, but has most recently visited UNC, Georgia and Clemson.

ESPN ranks him as the #18 overall player in the 2020 recruiting class, and the #2 player in the state of North Carolina.

NC State had a lot of momentum with Mayes last Summer and Fall, but Clemson and UNC are making a push. Having Mayes on campus today is a good sign.
