Charges Against NC State’s Eric Lockett Dismissed
According to Joe Giglio of the News & Observer, the charges against NC State Graduate Senior Guard Eric Lockett have been dismissed, as a result of video evidence supporting his case.
BREAKING: The assault charges against NC State basketball player Eric Lockett have been dismissed by the Wake County district attorney’s office.
There was video evidence in Lockett’s favor that led to the dismissal

The dismissal of the charges does not equal the immediate return of Lockett to his basketball duties. The legal portion of Lockett’s troubles are behind him, but he now has to go through a student-conduct investigation by NC State to determine if he’s in fact eligible to return to the team.
