NC State Baseball ACC Stat Leaders Heading into FSU Series

NC State is 17-0, which is obviously the best start in school history. They are ranked 2nd in the nation according to the Collegiate Baseball Poll.

Here’s a look at NC State’s ACC Stat leaders heading into the Wolfpack’s 3-game series against #1 FSU tonight.

Freshman Center Fielder Tyler McDonough ranks 11th in the ACC in Batting Average (.352), and Junior Shortstop Will Wilson ranks 15th (.348).

Junior Jason Parker ranks 3rd in the ACC in ERA (0.93), and Sophomore Reid Johnston ranks 5th (1.35). Sophomore Canaan Silver ranks 20th (3.18).

McDonough ranks 5th in Hits (25) and Wilson ranks 6th (24).

Sophomore Catcher Patrick Bailey ranks 4th in Walks (18).

Sophomore Outfielder Jonny Butler ranks 5th in Runs (19).

Senior 1st Baseman Evan Edwards ranks 6th in RBI’s (20).

Edwards ranks 5th in Total Bases (44), Wilson ranks 7th (43), and Bailey ranks 10th (40).

Bailey ranks 10th in On-Base Percentage (.488). and 9th in Slugging Percentage (.645).

Junior pitcher Kent Klyman leads the conference in Wins (5).

Redshirt Sophomore Dalton Feeney is 2nd in Saves (4).

Johnston ranks 4th in Opponent Batting Average (.157).
