Mike Glennon Signs with Oakland Raiders

Former NC State Quarterback Mike Glennon officially signed a contract with the Oakland Raiders on Friday.

He was released by the Cardinals two weeks ago, after spending 1 year of his 2-year contract ($8 million) in Arizona.

Glennon will serve as Derek Carr’s backup as long as they don’t draft a quarterback, which is still rumored to be a possibility.

Apparently the contract is a $2 million 1-year contract.

Glennon is entering his 7th NFL season after being drafted in the 3rd round of the 2013 Draft by the Bucs.

Even though he has only started 22 games in 6 seasons, Glennon has pocketed $27,446,782 over that span.
