PI EXCLUSIVE: 4-Star Josh Hall Talks New NC State Offer

2020 4-Star Small Forward Josh Hall (6’9″/190) met with NC State head coach Kevin Keatts on campus today, and left with an offer from the Wolfpack. I caught up with him shortly afterwards to get his thoughts.

It went very well! I just talked to Coach Keatts. He just elaborated on me staying on top of what I’m doing and striving to be better day-by-day. He reminded me that NC State has a family type setting and it’s close to home. He also reminded me he is a winner.

I feel like I can fit in well in Keatts’ system because of my versatility and what I bring to the table.

The things I’m looking for the most in a school is a family type setting where I can get better as a student-athlete.

247Sports ranks Hall as the #126 player overall nationally in the 2020 class, and the #6 player in the state of North Carolina. Hall was originally a member of the 2019 class.

He currently holds offers from Cincinnati, Wichita St, Rutgers, VCU, Providence, Oklahoma St, and others.

According to Hall, NC State began recruiting him back in 2017.

Hall also plays AAU ball on Team Loaded with 2021 NC State point guard target Carter Whitt.
