NC State’s Jakobi Meyers Signs Undrafted Free Agent Deal with Patriots

NC State Wide Receiver Jakobi Meyers might be second guessing his decision to forgo his final year of college eligibility after going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft.

I understand there was the unknown of who would be the Quarterback next year, and key players on the Offensive Line graduated.

Even still, he would have been the #1 target with Harmon gone.

There’s no point in crying over spilled milk.

If you’re an undrafted free agent slot receiver, where is the best possible landing spot?

I would say New England with Tom Brady who’s default setting is to throw at his slot recover.

Good for Meyers, he was instantly signed by the Pats.

Meyers earned 1st Team All-ACC honors this year, and broke NC State’s single season record for receptions (92).
