Washington Redskins Draft NC State’s Kelvin Harmon in the 6th Round

Finally.

Why on God’s green earth NC State Wide Receiver Kelvin Harmon slid all the way to the 6th round is beyond me.

The Washington Redskins just drafted Harmon in the 6th Round, with the 206th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

As you can see above, Harmon was the 13th highest graded Wide Receiver in the draft class, but somehow ended up being the 22nd Wide Receiver taken.

For crying out loud, two kickers and two punters were drafted before Harmon.

1st Team All-ACC. Back-to-Back 1,000 yard seasons.

So he didn’t test well at the Combine. I get it.

Some players may not test well. Some players simply play well, and that’s Kelvin Harmon.

I’ll put money on this. Harmon will have a more successful NFL career than most of the receivers who “tested” well.

Watch out NFL cornerbacks. The chip on Harmon’s shoulder can’t get much bigger at this point.
