NC State’s Josh Powell & CJ Leslie Scooped in Big3 Draft

Season 3 of the Big3 will kickoff this Summer. The Big3, is a 3×3 basketball league made up of former NBA and international players., that was formed by hip hop artist Ice Cube.

Last night was the 2019 Big3 Draft, and 2 former NC State players were picked up.

The Killer 3’s drafted former Wolfpacker Josh Powell with the 4th overall pick, and took Donte Green and CJ Watson in the 2nd and 3rd rounds respectively. They join Stephen Jackson (Captain), Metta World Peace (Co-Captain), and Al Harrington (Co-Captain). Charles Oakley is the coach.

Bivouac took Holy Springs native, and former NC State Forward CJ Leslie with the 1st pick in the 2nd round. They drafted Shawne Williams before him, and Dion Glover afterwards. They join BIVOUAC: Josh Smith (Captain), Will Bynum (Co-Captain), Anthony Morrow (Co-Captain). Bivouac is one of the 2019 expansion teams. Reggie Theus is the coach.

With the addition of 4 expansion teams, the Big3 is now made up of 12 teams.

The first game will be on June 22nd, and all the games will be on CBS and CBS Sports.
