4-Star 2020 Linebacker Mohamed Kaba (6’3″/210) out of Clinton High School (Clinton, North Carolina) shocked most of the national recruiting analysts this afternoon, verbally committed to South Carolina.

89% of the experts at 247Sports projected Kaba to choose NC State today in the Crystal Ball.

247Sports ranks Kaba as the #76 overall player in the 2020 recruiting class nationally, and the #3 player in the state of North Carolina.

Kaba’s offer sheet is silly, holding offers from Clemson, Duke, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, UNC, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Florida, Syracuse and others.

Back at the end of February, Kaba announced a Top-5 of UNC, South Carolina, Duke and Tennessee.

NC State was Kaba’s 1st offer back on June 16th of last year.

This was a big loss for the Wolfpack’s 2020 recruiting class.
