NC State’s ACC Leaders Heading into Clemson Series

#17 NC State (37-13) is looking to win their first ACC series since the 1st weekend of April (Boston College) this weekend against Clemson (29-20) in the Wolfpack’s final home series of the regular season. NC State lost the last three ACC series’ against Louisville, Notre Dame and Wake Forest. With that being said, the Wolfpack have won 4 of their last 5 games.

Here’s a look at the Wolfpack’s ACC Leaders heading into the weekend:

As a team, NC State heads into the weekend ranked 7th in the ACC in batting average, 5th in ERA, and 1st in fielding.

Senior 1st Baseman Evan Edwards’ .347 batting average ranks 7th in the conference, with Freshman Center Fielder Tyler McDonough (.335) and Junior Shortstop Will Wilson (.333) ranking 14th and 15th respectively.

Sophomore Reid Johnston ranks 17th in ERA (4.05).

McDonough (70) and Edwards (67) rank 3rd and 7th in Hits.

Wilson ranks 5th in Home Runs (14) and Edwards ranks 7th (13).

Sophomore Outfielder Jonny Butler ranks 2nd in Runs (56) and Edwards is tied for 5th (54).

Sophomore Catcher Patrick Bailey ranks 7th in Doubles (16).

Edwards (54) and Wilson (49) rank 6th and 8th in RBI’s respectively.

Edwards ranks 2nd in Total Bases (125) and Wilson (120) ranks 3rd.

Edwards ranks 10th in On-Base Percentage (.458) and 6th in Slugging Percentage (.648). Wilson ranks 5th in Slugging Percentage (.656).

Redshirt Sophomore Dalton Feeney ranks 6th in Saves (7).
