The NC State Summer Camp season kicked off today, and they picked up a commitment from 3-Star 2020 Wide Receiver Stephen Gosnell (6’2″/198) on Day 1.

The Wolfpack offered Gosnell back on May 10th.

Gosnell also held offers from Wake Forest, Appalachian State, Cincinnati, and others.

247Sports ranks him as the #30 overall player in the state of North Carolina.

Gosnell had 21 receptions for 430 yards and 7 touchdowns last season as a Junior for East Surry High School (Pilot Mountain, NC). But don’t get it twisted. Gosnell is a production machine. He also threw for 1,134 yards, with 14 touchdowns (7 interceptions), and a 101.9 Quarterback Rating. He also rushed for 1,080 yards (9.8 yards per carry) and 17 touchdowns.

NC State now has 3 Wide Receivers committed in the 2020 recruiting class:

  • 4-Star Porter Rooks
  • 4-Star Nate McCollum
  • 3-Star Stephen Gosnell

Gosnell is the 9th member of #Pack20.
