Trea Turner Picks Up 500th Career Hit

Former NC State All-American Shortstop Trea Turner picked up his 500th career hit on Tuesday, and it was a monster home run to left field.

His historic hit came in the midst of a 15-game on-base streak, which also includes a cycle.

Turner extended his streak to 16-games last night, going 2 for 5, with 2 more runs.
