ProFootballFocus released their 2019 Preseason Top-25 today, and they think a lot more of NC State than the AP voters. The Wolfpack didn’t receive a single vote in the Preseason AP Poll that was released today, but PFF ranks them 22nd.

  1. Clemson
  2. Alabama
  3. Georgia
  4. Notre Dame
  5. LSU
  6. Ohio State
  7. Oklahoma
  8. Michigan
  9. Florida
  10. Auburn
  11. Penn State
  12. Texas
  13. Iowa
  14. Texas A&M
  15. Washington
  16. Mississippi State
  17. Missouri
  18. Kentucky
  19. Stanford
  20. Utah
  21. Wisconsin
  22. NC State
  23. Syracuse
  24. Michigan State
  25. Miami
22. North Carolina State

The Wolfpack will be breaking in a new quarterback and offensive coordinator to start 2019. Although not set in stone, Matt McKay seems to be in the lead to start Week 1. Outside of some mop-up spots in 2018, little has been charted on McKay. Their schedule sets up relatively well with over seven wins in play if you are comfortable with the potential push.  (PFF)
