Andrew Luck shocked the world on Saturday night, retiring from the NFL at 29 years old, after earning the Comeback Player of the Year last season.

What this means, is that Jacoby Brissett will now be the third former Wolfpack quarterback starting for an NFL team on Week 1 of the 2019 season.

Many have believed that Brissett is the currently the best back-up quarterback in the NFL heading into the final year of his rookie contract, but Brissett and many others think that the Colts are in good hands.

Brissett was drafted by Bill Belichick, mentored by Bill Parcels, and played behind Tom Brady and Andrew Luck. It’s his time to shine.
