Broncos Waive OT Tyler Jones, Sign to Practice Squad

Former NC State Left Tackle Tyler Jones was waived by the Denver Broncos on Saturday, but then quickly signed to be one of their 10 Practice Squad players yesterday.

After going undrafted this year, Jones was initially signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jets, but was waived after not seeing action in the first two preseason games. The Broncos quickly scooped him up. Despite not making the 53-man roster, it is obvious that Denver wants to invest in him.

Jones earned 1st Team All-ACC honors last season with the Wolfpack.
