NC State’s ACC Leaders Heading into Week 2

There’s only 1 weeks worth of statistics, but what can I say…I love stats.

Here’s a look at NC State’s ACC stat leaders heading into Week 2.

Redshirt Sophomore Quarterback Matt McKay ranks 4th in the ACC in passing yards, and 7th in passing efficiency. He also ranks 3rd in Total Offense.

Junior Wide Receiver Emeka Emezie is ranked 2nd in receptions, and Redshirt Sophomore Thayer Thomas ranks 5th. Thomas ranks 7th in receiving yards, and Graduate Redshirt Senior Tabari Hines ranks 8th.

McKay ranks 2nd in scoring and Sophomore Place Kicker Chris Dunn ranks 5th. Dunn ranked 2nd in scoring by a kicker.

Dunn also ranks 2nd in field goals made.

Thayer Thomas ranks 2nd in the conference in punt return average.

Redshirt Freshman Linebacker Payton Wilson ranks 3rd in tackles for loss.

Sophomore Free Safety Tanner Ingle and Senior Cornerback Nick McCloud rank 2nd in passes defended.
