3-Star LB/DE Devon Betty Commits to NC State

NC State picked up a verbal commitment from 3-star LB/DE Devon Betty (6’1”/210) while he was on an Official Visit this weekend.

Betty plays for St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

NC State offered Betty on July 24th.

He also held offers from Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Pitt, South Carolina, South Florida, Texas, Maryland and others.

Rivals ranks Betty as the #65 player in the state of Florida in the 2020 class.

Betty is the 17th verbal commitment in NC State’s 2020 football recruiting class.
