NC State 2020 Football Commits Week 3 Report

This past weekend marked the third week of the 2019 high school football season. Here’s a rundown on how the 2020 NC State Football verbal commitments fared. t

4-Star Wide Receiver Porter Rooks had 3 receptions for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns in Myers Park’s 63-3 win over Providence.

3-Star Wide Receiver Stephen Gosnell had 4 receptions for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns in East Surry’s 65-0 victory over North Surry. He also had a 1-yard touchdown run.

3-Star Quarterback Ben Finley was 17 of 22 with 180 yards and 2 Touchdowns in Paradise Valley’s 28-26 victory over South Mountain. He also had 3 carries for 21 yards. Finley left the game with an injury.

3-Star Defensive End Pheldarius Payne had 2 tackles, and 1 tackle for loss in Lackawanna’s 55-0 victory over Wagner.

3-Star Jonathan Adorno and his Rolesville squad beat East Wake 49-7.

3-Star Defensive Tackle Jaylen Smith had 2 tackles in Hertford’s 50-33 loss to Rocky Mount.

3-Star Cornerback Devan Boykin had a 41-yard touchdown reception in Ragsdale’s 24-14 lost to Northern Guilford.

3-Star Safety Nehki Meredith had 2 rushing touchdowns, and 1 touchdown reception in Catholic’s 31-16 victory over Woodberry Forest.
