4-Star Point Guard Cam Hayes Commits to NC State
4-Star 2020 Point Guard Cam Hayes (6’2″/175) just verbally committed to NC State.
Hayes officially visited NC State this past weekend, reclassified to the 2020 recruiting class on Sunday, and proceeded to cancel his Official Visit to Tennessee this weekend. Even though he still had Official Visits scheduled for Louisville and Maryland the final two weekends of the month, buzz began to point completely in the Wolfpack’s direction throughout the week, with everyone over at 247Sports casting their Crystal Ball predictions for Hayes heading to Raleigh.
NC State offered Hayes back on September 29th of last year.
Hayes is a 4-Star prospect that 247Sports Composite ranks as the #45 player nationally, the #5 point guard, and #4 player in the state of North Carolina. He plays for Greensboro Day.
NC State now has two players committed in 2020, with Hayes joining 3-Star Power Forward Nick Farrar. With the addition of one of the best players in the nation in Hayes, Kevin Keatts will look to add a couple more top flight prospects, with a minimum of two scholarships available.
