3-Star LB Jayland Parker Taking Official Visit to NC State this Weekend

3-Star 2020 Linebacker Jayland Parker (6’3″/214) will be taking an Official Visit to NC State this weekend, as the Wolfpack host Ball State on Saturday night (7pm).

Parker included NC State in his Top-3 back on June 15th along with Purdue and Colorado. He took Official Visits to both Purdue and Colorado.

NC State offered Parker back on March 1st, while he was in for an unofficial visit.

Parker committed to Colorado back at the beginning of July, but decommitted on September 8th.

He recently took an unofficial visit to Mississippi State, but I think there’s a strong likelihood that Parker leaves this weekend as an NC State commit. Since his decommitment, 5 crystal ball predictions over at 247Sports have come in, and they all project that he will run with the Wolfpack.

He had 58 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 2 interceptions last year in 2018 for Westside High School (Macon, GA). Parker has 17 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 1 interception through the first two games of 2019.

247Sports Composite ranks Parker as the #51 player in the state of Georgia, and ESPN ranks him as the #14 Inside Linebacker in the 2020 recruiting class.
