NC State released their depth chart for their matchup against Ball State this Saturday night yesterday at Dave Doeren’s weekly press conference.

Notes

  • Last week there was an “OR” between Freshman Timothy McKay and Redshirt Freshman Derrick Eason at Right Tackle, with the former being listed before the latter. This week there is no “OR”, and Eason has jumped over McKay to serve as Redshirt Junior Justin Witt’s backup.
  • Freshman Nose Tackle Joshua Harris was third string on the depth chart last week, but isn’t on it at all this week. He has battled injury, and has yet to see the field through 3 games. The same is true for Freshman Defensive Tackle CJ Clark.
  • There is now an “OR” in between the names of Redshirt Junior Brock Miller and Redshirt Freshman Payton Wilson at the BUCK Linebacker position. Wilson ranks 4th on the team in tackles.
  • Senior Kishawn Miller is now the starter at Left Cornerback. Last week Sophomore Teshaun Smith was at the top of the list, with an “OR” between his name and Miller’s. Miller started the season opener in 2018. He transferred to NC State prior to the 2018 season from Georgia Military College.

Fans today don’t get to see the train pass by old Riddick Stadium (on campus). Football has gotten a lot more sophisticated. What hasn’t changed is that heart, effort, and hard work still dominate on the field. I look at the roster and… Read more »
