According to Patrick O’Brien at Phenom Hoops, Ambrose-Hylton will be taking an Official Visit to NC State next weekend (September 27-29). He also has Official Visits scheduled to the rest of the schools in his Final 5 as well (He already took one to Dayton).

Here’s what he told O’Brien about the Wolfpack:

NC State: β€œGreat team, great transition.Β  Head coach Kevin Keatts has stated I will make a huge impact in my freshman year. Β The Wolfpack seems insane, they definitely go hard for their team.” (PH)

Ambrose-Hylton is listed as a Power Forward by 247Sports and Rivals, while ESPN lists him as a Small Forward. ESPN ranks Ambrose as the #58 overall player in the 2020 recruiting class, the #13 small forward, and the #1 player in the state of Ontario, Canada. 247Sports ranks him as the #13 Power Forward in 2020.

NC State was late to the party, offering Ambrose-Hylton less than 2 weeks ago (September 9), but they must have made quite the impression.

Ambrose-Hylton plays for Andrews Osborne Academy in Toronto, Canada.

According to O’Brien, Ambrose-Hylton plans on making his decision in early November.
