NC State 2020 Football Commits Week 5 Report

The 6th weekend of high school football kicks off tonight, but before it does, here’s a rundown on how the 2020 NC State verbal commitments did in Week 5.

4-Star Wide Receiver Porter Rooks had a touchdown reception in Myers Park’s 68-21 victory over Hough.

3-Star Offensive Tackle Austin Blaske had 1 tackle in South Effingham’s 31-30 victory over West Laurens.

3-Star Defensive Tackle Jaylen Smith had 4 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 3 pass deflections in Hertford County’s 35-32 victory over South Central.

3-Star Offensive Guard Jonathan Adorno and his Rolesville squad beat Broughton 41-21.

3-Star Linebacker Devon Betty had 1 tackle in St. Thomas Aquinas’ 36-0 victory over Miramar.

3-Star Cornerback Devan Boykin had 2 touchdowns and 1 interception in Ragsdale’s 22-20 overtime loss to Northern Guilford.

3-Star Center Ethan Lane and his Archer squad beat Norcross 31-0.

3-Star Defensive Tackle Davin Vann had 4 tackles in Cary’s 49-20 loss to Holly Springs.

3-Star Quarterback Ben Finley was 13 of 18 for 307 yards and 3 touchdowns (0 interceptions) in Paradise Valley’s 63-30 victory over Flowing Wells.

3-Star Wide Receiver Stephen Gosnell had 2 receptions for 15 yards in East Surry’s 35-10 victory over West Stokes. He also had 5 tackles, and 1 rushing touchdown (1-yard).

3-Star Defensive Tackle Pheldarius Payne had 1 tackle in Lackawanna Community College’s 40-25 victory over ASA.
