Former NC State Safety Josh Jones has been signed to the Dallas Cowboys Practice Squad.

The Green Bay Packers released Jones back on August 25th, and had previously asked for a trade.

The Packers drafted Jones in the 2nd round of the 2017 NFL Draft, with the 61st overall pick. Jones started in 12 of the 29 games that he played for Green Bay the past two seasons, tallying 126 tackles, 3 sacks, 7 pass deflections and 1 interception.

A spot on the Cowboys Practice Squad opened up when Wide Receiver Ventell Bryant was activated from it, and added to the 53-man roster.
