NC State 2020 Football Commits Week 6 Report

The 7th weekend of high school football kicks off tonight, but before it does, here’s a rundown on how the 2020 NC State verbal commitments did in Week 6.

3-Star Safety Nehki Meredith had 8 tackles in Catholic’s 34-14 loss to St. Mary’s Ryken.

3-Star Offensive Tackle Austin Blaske had 4 tackles and 1 tackle for loss in South Effingham’s 42-28 loss to Pierce County.

3-Star Cornerback Aydan White had 2 receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown on offense, and 1 tackle in Christ School’s 25-7 loss to Charlotte Latin.

3-Star Defensive Tackle Jaylen Smith had 5 tackles, 3 tackles for loss and 2 sacks in Hertford County’s 43-21 victory over East Duplin.

3-Star Offensive Guard Jonathan Adorno and his Rolesville squad beat Terry Sanford 34-28.

3-Star Linebacker Devon Betty had 4 tackles in St. Thomas Aquinas’ 45-24 victory over Carol City.

3-Star Cornerback Devan Boykin had 2 touchdown receptions in Ragsdale’s 31-18 loss to Mount Tabor.

3-Star Defensive Tackle Davin Vann had 12 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery in Cary’s 21-18 loss to Green Hope.

3-Star Quarterback Ben Finley was 18 of 26 for 421 yards and 5 touchdowns (1 interception) for a QB Rating of 135.4 in Paradise Valley’s 56-21 victory over North Canyon.

3-Star Wide Receiver Stephen Gosnell blew up for 472 all-purpose yards in East Surry’s 55-49 victory over Reidsville. Gosnell rushed the ball 11 times for 101 yards and a touchdown, caught 11 passes for 263 yards and 4 touchdowns, and threw in 108 return yards for good measure.

3-Star Tight End Ezemdi Udoh had 4 receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown in Terry Sanford’s 34-28 victory over Rolesville.

3-Star Defensive Tackle Pheldarius Payne had 3 tackles and 1 QB Hurry in Lackawanna College’s 83-0 victory over Erie Community College.
