NC State’s ACC Leaders Heading into Week 8

Here’s a look at NC State’s ACC stat leaders heading into Week 8.

Junior Wide Receiver Emeka Emezie ranks 5th in the ACC in receptions per game (5.5).

Sophomore Place Kicker Chris Dunn ranks 1st in the league in points per game (9.5), 1st in points scored by a kicker, first in field goals per game (2.17), and 4th in field goal percentage (81.2%).

Redshirt Sophomore Thayer Thomas ranks 1st in the conference in punt return average (14.6).

Freshman Wide Receiver Keyon Lesane ranks 7th in kickoff return average (19.7).

Redshirt Sophomore Punter Trenton Gill ranks 2nd in average yard per punt (47.5).

Freshman Running Back Jordan Houston ranks 5th in yards per carry (6.2), and Freshman Zonovan Knight ranks 10th (5.1).

Redshirt Senior Defensive Tackle Larrell Murchison leads the ACC in Sacks (7/1.17), and Redshirt Sophomore Defensive End Xavier Lyas is tied for 9th (0.67).

Murchison also ranks 2nd in Tackles for Loss per game (1.42).

Lyas ranks 3rd in Forced Fumbles (2).

Junior Cornerback Chris Ingram ranks 5th in passes defended (6) and 4th in interceptions (2).
