The 2019 NBA Preseason has come to a close, and before the 2019-20 Regular season kicks off on Tuesday night, here’s a recap of how former NC State players did in the Preseason.

Former ACC Player of the Year T.J. Warren led the Pacers in scoring (14.8) in their 4 preseason games, shooting 47.6% from the field, an 50% from beyond the arch. Warren is a lock to be the starting Small Forward in Indy.

Former ACC Freshman of the Year Dennis Smith Jr. was dinged up some, and only played in 2 preseason games, averaging 6.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. DSJ shot poorly, hitting 17.6% of his shots. Smith Jr. isn’t a lock for the starting point guard job in New York, battling things out with Elfrid Payton.

Guard C.J. Williams only played in one game for the Brooklyn Nets for 2.2 minutes, recording no stats, before being waived.

Guard Jalen Lecque, who was supposed to be a Freshman at NC State this season, played in 3 games for the Suns this preseason, averaging 3.7 points in an average of 4.9 minutes per game.
