NC State 2020 Football Commits Week 9 Report

Before Week 10 of the High School Football season kicks off tonight, here’s a rundown on how the 2020 NC State verbal commitments did in Week 9.

4-Star Wide Receiver Porter Rooks had 5 receptions for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns in Myers Park’s 52-14 victory over Hickory Ridge.

4-Star Defensive Tackle Davin Vann had 12 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks in Cary’s 13-10 loss to Jordan.

4-Star Offensive Tackle Austin Blaske and his South Effingham squad lost to Wayne County 31-28 in Overtime.

3-Star Cornerback Aydan White had 6 receptions for 95 yards in Christ School’s 13-7 loss to Charlotte Country Day.

3-Star Defensive Tackle Jaylen Smith had 5 tackles, 4 tackles for loss and 2 sacks in Hertford County’s 33-0 victory over First Flight.

3-Star Quarterback Ben Finley had the worst game of the season, completing 14 of 21 for 136 yards and 5 interceptions (0 touchdowns) in Paradise Valley’s 49-0 loss to McClintock.

3-Star Offensive Guard Jonathan Adorno and his Rolesville teammates beat Knightdale 49-6.

3-Star Linebacker Devon Betty had 7 tackles in St. Thomas Aquinas’ 28-7 victory over Deerfield Beach.

3-Star Cornerback Devan Boykin had 2 touchdown receptions (20 & 14) in Ragsdale’s 45-35 victory over Page.

3-Star Center Ethan Lane and his Archer squad lost to Grayson 34-31 in OT.

3-Star Offensive Guard Sean Hill and Brookwood beat Central Gwinnett 58-39.

3-Star Wide Receiver Joshua Crabtree had 1 reception for 32 yards in Heritage’s 34-28 victory over Wakefield.

3-Star Tight End Ezemdi Udoh had 1 reception for 10 yards in Terry Sanford’s 48-12 victory over Douglas Byrd. He also had 3 tackles.

3-Star Defensive Tackle Pheldarius Payne had 1 sack and 1 forced fumble in Lackawanna’s 69-6 victory over Hocking.
