NC State has Started More Players Than Any Other Power 5 Team

NC State is one of youngest teams in the nation, and not only are they young, they are also one of the most injured teams. When you combine those two factors, the Wolfpack has had a revolving door of combinations on the field at any given moment.

In fact, NC State has started 38 different players through 7 games, which is more than ANY other Power 5 team thus far (6th in FBS). That’s 9 more players than the Wolfpack had started through 7 games last year.

The 3 offensive players that have started all 7 games: Redshirt Junior Left Guard Joe Sculthorpe, Redshirt Sophomore Grant Gibson and Redshirt Sophomore Wide Receiver Thayer Thomas. Six defensive players have started every game: Redshirt Junior Linebacker Brock Miller, Redshirt Sophomore Linebacker Isaiah Moore, Junior Linebacker Louis Acceus, Sophomore Free Safety Tanner Ingle, Graduate Redshirt Senior Strong Safety Jarius Morehead and Redshirt Senior Defensive Tackle Larrell Murchison.
