CBSSports Ranks NC State’s Markell Johnson as the #48 Player in College Basketball

CBSSports has released their list of their Top-100 players in College Basketball heading into the 2019-20 Men’s Basketball season, and they ranked NC State Senior Point Guard Markell Johnson as the #48 player in the land.

For perspective, NBCSports ranked Johnson 96th, and Jeff Goodman of Watch Stadium ranked him 72nd.

48. Markell Johnson, NC State: After leading the ACC in assists as a sophomore, Johnson took on a bigger role as a go-to scorer for NC State as a junior. And now with more talent surrounding him, the expectation is that the sophomore and junior versions of himself meld into one of the most productive players in the conference. — KB (CBS)
