The Monarchs won 3 out of the first 4 matches, including an upset over #10 Thomas Bullard. The one victory in that bunch was a Top-5 victory for #1 Hayden Hidlay over #4 Larry Early (6-4).

Redshirt Freshman Trent Hidlay and Sophomore Tyrie Houghton would have something to say about that 9-3 deficit, producing 11 points between the 2 of them over the next two matches.

ODU made things interesting, bringing the match within 4 points when #13 Redshirt Freshman Jacob Camacho was upset by Killian Cardinale in his debut, bringing the score to 16-12.

With that being said, Redshirt Junior Kellen Devlin all but sealed the deal with decision over Hanna, and #11 Redshirt Junior Tariq Wilson put the cherry on top with a victory over #14 Sa’Derian Perry in his first match at 141 pounds.

NC State will host Belmont Abbey, UNC-Pembroke and Reinhardt today in the Wolfpack Duals, beginning at Noon.
