3-Star WR Jalen Coit Commits to NC State

3-Star 2020 Wide Receiver Jalen Coit (6’1″/165) has verbally committed to play football at NC State.

Coit plays for Cheraw High School (Cheraw, SC) in South Carolina, and is ranked as the #15 player in the state by ESPN. He chose to run with the Pack over offers from Miami, West Virginia, Washington State, Wake Forest, Virginia, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Purdue, Penn State, Louisville, Kentucky, Duke, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, and others.

Cheraw lost in the 2nd round of the state playoffs last week, but Coit finished the season with 55 receptions for 842 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also took one punt to the house in 2019.

Coit was quick to act upon the offer he received from the NC State coaches a week ago, on November 15th.
