2020 Wide Receiver Anthony Smith Commits to NC State

The NC State football coaches watched 2020 Wide Receiver Anthony Smith (6’2″/180) out of Huntington, Maryland last night, and offered him a scholarship 5 hours ago.

5 hours later, Smith verbally committed to NC State.

Prior to Huntington’s 35-0 victory over Wilde Lake in the 3rd round of the Maryland State playoffs, Smith had 30 receptions for 734 yards (24.5 average) and 12 touchdowns.

Smith also held offers from Rhode Island, Navy and UMASS. As far as I can tell, Smith is an unrated/unranked prospect in every major recruiting database.
