NC State in the NFL: Week 12 Report

15 of the 21 former NC State players on active NFL rosters saw action in Week 12 of the 2019 NFL season. Check out a breakdown of how they did below.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett (starter) had a quiet day last Thursday night, completing 16 of 25 for 129 yards in Indy’s 20-17 loss to Houston. He also rushed 4 times for 20 yards with a touchdown.
Running Back Nyheim Hines had 9 carries for 51 yards, and 2 receptions for 10 yards in the Colts’ 20-17 loss to the Texans. He also returned two kickoffs for an average of 18 yards. Hines played 33% of the offensive snaps.
Place Kicker Stephen Hauschka (starter) was perfect in the Bills’ 20-3 victory over the Broncos, making both field goals (39 & 23) and both extra points.

Wide Receiver Kelvin Harmon (starter) had 3 receptions for 43 yards (6 targets) in Washington’s 19-16 victory over Detroit, including this ridiculous 1-hand catch.

It was Harmon’s 3rd consecutive start (5th of the year), playing 66% of the snaps.

Quarterback Russell Wilson (starter) and the Seahawks beat Philly 17-9. His performance was not as stunning as usual, completing 13 of 25 for 200 yards, with a touchdown and an interception.

What was stunning was Wilson’s touchdown throw on a trick play.

Punter A.J. Cole (starter) punted the ball 7 times for an average of 45 yards in Oakland’s 34-3 loss to the Jets.

Quarterback Mike Glennon was 4 of 7 for 20 yards in the Raiders’ 34-3 loss to New York. He fumbled the ball 3 times, losing one of them.

Defensive Back Juston Burris (starter) had 2 tackles and 2 pass deflections in the Browns’ 41-24 victory over the Dolphins. Burris has been a breakout player for Cleveland, playing 100% of the defensive snaps against Miami.

Running Back Jaylen Samuels had 2 carries for 6 yards, and 3 receptions for 26 yards in Pittsburgh’s 16-10 victory over Cincinnati. He played in 29% of the offensive snaps.

Quarterback Ryan Finley (starter) played his best game to date, completing 12 of 26 for 192 yards and a touchdown in Cincinnati’s 16-10 loss to Pittsburgh. . He did fumble the ball 2 times, losing one. Finley’s QB Rating was 84.1.

Linebacker Germaine Pratt (starter) had a career high 8 tackles in the Bengals’ 16-10 loss to the Steelers. He played 62% of the defensive snaps. It was the 3rd consecutive start for Pratt, and the 4th of the season.

Defensive End B.J. Hill didn’t record any stats in the Giants’ 19-14 loss to the Bears, playing 26% of the defensive snaps.

Offensive Guard Ted Larsen played 1 offensive snap, and 5 special teams snaps in Chicago’s 19-14 victory over New York.

Wide Receiver Jakobi Meyers (starter) had 4 receptions for career high 74 yards in the first start of his career. He played a career high 77% of the offensive snaps in New England’s 13-9 victory over Dallas.

Offensive Guard Joe Thuney (starter) played 100% of the offensive snaps in the Patriots’ 13-9 victory over the Cowboys.
