NC State legendary Wide Receiver Torry Holt will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame tonight on ESPN3 at 8:30pm.

Holt will be 1 of 15 players inducted tonight.

He will become the 6th NC State player to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

1975 – HB John McDowall
1989 – QB Roman Gabriel
1998 – C Jim Ritcher
2010 – DT Dennis Byrd
2013 – RB Ted Brown
2019 – WR Torry Holt

Holt is 1 of 8 players in school history to be a Consensus 1st Team All-American, was in the Top-10 in voting for the 1998 Heisman Trophy, and earned 1st Team All-ACC honors twice.

At graduation, Holt left school as the ACC career leader in receiving yards (3,379), which now ranks 6th. Holt’s 1998 season is still arguably the best by a Wide Receiver in conference history. His 1,604 receiving yards in ’98 still stands as the most receiving yards in a single season.

Holt is 1 of 8 players in NC State football history to have his jersey number officially retired (1999).

No matter how you interpret the stats below, Holt is the best receiver that has ever played for NC State.
