3-Star JUCO DT Pheldarius Payne No Longer a Member of NC State’s Recruiting Class

3-Star JUCO Defensive Tackle Pheldarius Payne took his Official Visit to NC State this past weekend, and I confirmed with him last night that he is no longer a member of the Wolfpack’s 2020 football recruiting class.

Payne committed to NC State on June 26th, but then took an Official Visit to Nebraska the weekend before last, after picking up an offer from the Huskers on November 22nd.

247Sports ranks him as the #32 JUCO player nationally in the 2020 recruiting class.

Payne finished his 2nd season at Lackawanna Community College with 30 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 4 sacks.

NC State now has 19 verbal commitments in their 2020 recruiting class heading into Signing Day this week.
