Former NC State Punter Mackenzie Morgan has found a new home at Weber State.

The Redshirt Sophomore announced he was transferring from NC State back on November 17th.

Morgan entered the 2019 season as the only scholarship punter on the squad, and was expected to be the starter for the Wolfpack, but Redshirt Sophomore Trenton Gill earned a scholarship before the start of the season, and ultimately earned the starting job.

Gill went on to break Johnny Evans single season record for yards per punt set back in 1975 (46.1), averaging an insane 47.6 yards per punt, which also led the ACC.
