The 2nd rendition of the Fall Directors’ Cup Standings was released today, and NC State is currently ranked 6th nationally after the wrap up of the soccer seasons.

NC State’s Women’s Cross Country team finished 5th, brining in the most points for the school, with 75. This was an improvement for the Wolfpack, finishing 13th last year, accumulating 63 points.

The Women’s Soccer team was next, finishing 9th, adding another 64 points, landing in the exact same spot as they did last year.

The Men’s Cross Country team slipped a bit this year, finishing 26th, adding 48 points to the pot for NC State. Last year they finished 11th, producing 66 points.

Lastly, the Men’s Soccer team took a dip as well, finishing 33rd, adding 25 points. Last year, they finished 17th, producing 50 points.

Last year, NC State finished 10th in the Final Fall Standings. The Fall Standings should wrap up in early January, with the full conclusion of the Volleyball and Football seasons. The Wolfpack won’t be earning any additional points from Volleyball and Football this year. Last year, Volleyball didn’t produce any points, but the Football team did finish 50th, producing 25 points.

Currently, NC State is the 2nd highest ranked team in the ACC.

When the 2018-19 Athletic Calendar wrapped up this Summer, NC State finished 26th for the year in the Final Directors’ Cup Standings.
