Former NC State Defensive Back Juston Burris is coming back home, signing a 2-year deal with the Carolina Panthers.

Burris had a breakout season in 2019 in Cleveland, starting 9 games (played in 14), tallying 32 Tackles, 2 INTs, 7 Passes Defended, a Sack and a Forced Fumble.

The Jets drafted him in the 4th round back in 2016, and he spent his first 3 seasons in New York, playing in 34 games. Midway through 2018 Burris was waived by the Jets, and was scooped up by the Browns, where he played 4 games.

Burris is returning to his home state, growing up in Raleigh, where he played high school ball at Broughton.
