4-Star 2020 Small Forward JaDun Michael (6’5″/185) announced his decommitment from Wichita State, after committing to the Shockers on November 19th.

As you can see above, Michael noted his desire to stay closer to home. According to Jake at Stockrisers.com, NC State was one of the many schools that reached out to Michael soon as the news broke, along with Pitt, UVA, Alabama, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Penn State and Virginia Tech.

NC State is familiar with Michael, being the first ACC school to offer him a scholarship back on September.

247Sports ranks Michael as the #104 overall player nationally in the 2020 recruiting class, and the #4 player in the state of North Carolina (The Burlington School/Burlington, NC). Michael is familiar with NC State 5-star 2020 signee Josh Hall, playing AAU ball with him on Team Loaded.
